Beef-Cheddar Macaroni Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar prepared spaghetti sauce
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large skillet, brown beef; drain fat and set aside.
    In same skillet, saute onion in margarine until translucent.
    In large bowl, combine beef, onion, spaghetti sauce, macaroni, 1 cup of the cheese, mushrooms and seasonings.
    Spoon into an 11 x 7 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Bake, covered, for 20 minutes, or until bubbly.
    Remove cover; evenly sprinkle with 1/2 cup cheese.
    Bake 5 minutes longer, or until cheese melts.
    Serves 6.
