Sweet Potato Breakfast Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. baked sweet potatoes
    3/4 c. butter-flavor Crisco
    3 to 4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    pinch of salt
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. plain flour
Preparation
    With pastry blender
    cut
    Crisco, sugar, cinnamon, salt and baking powder into peeled and mashed sweet potatoes.
    Then work in 2 1/2 cups flour,
    leaving
    1/2
    cup
    flour to pat out biscuits. Bake in 425\u00b0
    (preheated) oven for 25 minutes. (For variation add raisins and/or
    coconut
    to
    dough.)
    Brush tops with melted butter.
