Southern Fried Squash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 to 6 small tender yellow squash, sliced in 1/4-inch pieces
1 to 1 1/2 c. flour
salt and pepper to taste
1 to 1 1/2 c. cooking oil
Preparation

Place flour in a plastic bag and add seasonings to taste. Heat oil in skillet.
Place squash in bag and shake until each pieces is coated with flour.
Place pieces individually into hot grease (should sizzle).
Cook until brown around edges.
Turn each piece over and cook until brown.
Drain on paper towels.
