Soft Molasses Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light molasses
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sour milk
    5 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and molasses.
    Dissolve soda in sour milk.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add to creamed mixture with sour milk.
    Roll out dough, cut out and sprinkle with sugar or roll in balls, flatten and sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes or until done.
