Fruit Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    4 eggs (large)
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    cherry pie filling (20 oz. can)
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add, eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add vanilla. Sift flour and baking powder together.
    Add gradually to creamed mixture.
    Pour into a greased and floured cookie sheet.
    Spread dough; with back of teaspoon, mark off 30 to 40 depressions. Spoon 1 teaspoon of cherry pie filling in each depression.
