Cheesy Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped jalapenos
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. cream-style corn
    2/3 c. cooking oil
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    Grease and flour a 9 X 13 inch pan.
    In a medium bowl, mix cornmeal, eggs, buttermilk, jalapenos, salt, corn and oil; blend together well.
    Pour half the batter into pan.
    Sprinkle with cheese; add remaining batter.
    Bake 45 minutes.
    Cool 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
