Edith Harris' Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, separated
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    2/3 c. lemon juice
    1 baked, cooled pie crust
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 c. sugar
    yellow food coloring
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Using mixer at high speed, beat egg yolks until fluffy.
    Add condensed milk and lemon juice.
    Beat until creamy; pour into pie crust.
