Quail With Blueberries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 quail
    oil
    lemon juice
    salt and pepper
    4 c. blueberries
    4 tsp. sugar
    8 Tbsp. butter
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    8 bay leaves
Preparation
    Rub quail generously inside and out with a mixture of oil and lemon juice.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Stuff each quail with 1/2 cup blueberries and 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
    Close with skewers or thread.
    Place each on square of aluminum foil, large enough to fold well.
    Melt butter, add to minced garlic and bay leaves. Pour equal amount of mixture over each bird. Wrap loosely and fold edges to seal.
    Roast, breast down, in 425\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until tender.
    Serve with juice.
    Serves 4.
