Baked Persimmon Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. strained persimmon pulp
    2 eggs, beaten slightly
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Sift together flour, salt, baking soda and sugar.
    Add persimmon pulp to flour mixture along with remaining ingredients. Mix well.
    Turn batter into 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish that has been well-greased and floured.
    Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    Done when toothpick comes out clean.
    Serve with lemon sauce.
