Marinara Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. olive oil
    2 cloves crushed garlic
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    6 large tomatoes, peeled and chopped or 3 1/2 c. Italian peeled canned tomatoes, drained
    pinch of sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In large pan, heat oil.
    Saute garlic and onion until soft and golden, about 10 minutes.
    Add herbs, tomatoes, sugar, salt and pepper; stir well.
    Cook about 30 minutes.
    Serve over your favorite pasta.
    Sauce also freezes well.
