Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. onions
    4 c. tomatoes (ripe or green)
    4 c. cabbage
    6 green peppers
    6 red peppers
    1/2 c. salt
    6 c. sugar
    3 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. mustard (dry)
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Grind vegetables or chop finely.
    Sprinkle with salt and let stand overnight.
    Rinse and drain well.
    Mix remaining ingredients and cook 3 minutes.
    Pour over vegetables and cook all together for 3 minutes after it boils.
    Fill hot jars and seal.
