Pork Chops Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    1 tsp. salt
    shortening
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 c. ketchup
    1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    6 slices onion
    water
Preparation
    Dip chops in flour seasoned with salt and pepper.
    Brown in hot fat.
    Drain off fat.
    Sprinkle with lemon juice and sugar. Top each chop with a slice of onion.
    Pour ketchup over all.
    Add water.
    Cover and simmer over low heat for 1 to1 1/2 hours or until tender.
