Coco Coco Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. cocoa
2/3 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation

Sift flour; measure and re-sift 3 times with soda, salt and cocoa.
Cream shortening until soft; add sugar and blend thoroughly.
Add beaten eggs and beat vigorously until smooth and fluffy.
Stir in vanilla.
Add flour mixture with buttermilk; add boiling water.
