Chicken Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. chopped, cooked chicken
2 c. thinly sliced celery
1 to 2 Tbsp. minced onion
3/4 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. whipping cream
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
white pepper to taste
1/4 to 1/2 c. slivered toasted almonds
1 can sliced water chestnuts (optional)
Preparation

Mix chicken, celery and water chestnuts.
Combine next 6 ingredients and stir well.
Add to chicken mixture and toss well. Chill.
Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
Serves 8 to 10.
