Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium size potatoes, cooked and mashed
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    5 to 6 c. flour
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over sugar, salt, shortening and mashed potatoes.
    Stir until shortening is dissolved and mixture cools. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water; add to the mixture.
    Mix well then stir in flour to make a soft dough.
    Rub bowl with shortening, cover tightly.
    Store in refrigerator until ready to use.
    Yields 3 dozen.
