Sweet Potatoes Royale - cooking recipe

Ingredients

sweet potatoes, mashed (4 c.)
1/2 to 1 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 to 2/3 c. applesauce
1/4 c. melted butter
2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. flaked coconut
20 large marshmallows

Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients.
Spoon into lightly greased 12 x 18 x 2-inch baking dish.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Coconut can be mixed in with first 5 ingredients or be sprinkled on top.
Top with marshmallows and bake 15 minutes more.
