Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. finely chopped carrots
    1/4 c. finely chopped celery
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1 can chicken broth
    2 c. milk
    1/4 c. flour
    1 c. shredded American cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In saucepan, mix carrots, onions, celery and chicken broth. Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Combine milk, flour and salt.
    Stir into broth mixture.
    Cook and stir until thickened.
    Add cheese, stirring until melted.
    Serves 4.
