Applesauce Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. raisins
2 c. water
1 c. unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. liquid sugar substitute
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 Tbsp. carob powder or cocoa
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Simmer raisins in water until water is absorbed.
Add applesauce, vanilla, oil, sweetener and eggs to cooled raisins. Stir in dry ingredients and nuts.
Mix well.
Drop by spoonfuls on greased baking sheets and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes, just until done.
Do not overbake.
