Batter Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 c. sifted plain flour
    2 tsp. seasoned salt
    2/3 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) fryer
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    oil for frying
Preparation
    Combine egg, milk and oil.
    Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and pepper.
    Add to milk mixture.
    Beat until smooth. Dip chicken into batter.
    Drain 5 to 10 minutes on wire rack. Fill skillet or Dutch oven 1/2 full with oil.
    Heat to 375\u00b0.
    Cook chicken about 10 to 15 minutes or until done.
    Drain on paper towels.
