Hot Water Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. molasses
    1/2 c. boiling water
    2 1/2 c. flour
    4 Tbsp. melted fat
    1 1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Add boiling water to molasses.
    Mix and sift dry ingredients. Add wet mixture to dry.
    Add melted fat.
    Beat hard.
    Pour into greased pan.
    Bake in moderate oven (425\u00b0) about 25 minutes.
