Turnips - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 5 turnips
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter
water
Preparation
-
Peel and slice turnips about 1/3-inch thick.
Add seasonings, butter and water.
Cook in covered saucepan until tender, about 45 minutes.
May be cooked in microwave 7 to 8 minutes.
