Easy Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    4 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Melt yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water.
    Pour boiling water over salt, sugar and shortening; let cool.
    Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
    Add flour a little at a time.
    (Sometimes I use a little less than 4 cups.)
    Let rise until double in bulk.
    Punch down and roll out into small balls.
    Let rise and bake at 400\u00b0 until brown. Can be refrigerated for a few days before baking.
