Mile High Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

10 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
1 c. sugar
2 egg whites
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (10-inch) baked pie shell

Preparation

Put defrosted strawberries, sugar, egg whites, salt and lemon juice in large bowl.
Beat until stiff (15 minutes).
Whip the cream.
Add vanilla and fold into strawberry mixture.
Pile into pie shell.
Freeze overnight.
Can be made with other frozen fruits.
