Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) bag Ore-Ida hash browns
    1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz or 1/2 lb. grated cheese
    corn flakes
    1/2 c. melted butter
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of chicken soup
Preparation
    Defrost potatoes until you can break apart.
    Combine all ingredients, except for the corn flakes and 1/4 cup of butter. Pour ingredients into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Top with 1 cup crushed corn flakes and 1/4 cup melted butter.
    Bake, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
