Oven Style Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 sticks oleo
    1/2 c. Karo (white)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    8 c. popped corn
Preparation
    Place first 4 ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Bring to a boil; boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Do not overboil.
    Add vanilla and soda, stirring after each addition.
    Pour over salted popped corn, covering all kernels.
    Place on 2 cookie sheets. Bake in a 250\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, stirring 3 to 4 times.
    (May be stored in any tight can or plastic bag.)
    Cool on wax paper.
    I put peanuts and pecans in mine.
