Pork Chop Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium thick pork chops
    2 ripe tomatoes
    1 green pepper
    1 large onion
    6 Tbsp. raw rice
    1 can consomme
    pinch each of marjoram and thyme
Preparation
    Brown chops
    in
    skillet.
    Place
    on
    rice in bottom of fairly large
    casserole.\tPour
    chops'
    drippings
    over this. Place a thick
    slice
    of
    onion,
    tomato and ring of pepper on each chop. Salt and pepper as you go.\tPour consomme over all and sprinkle with several pinches of marjoram and thyme.
