Squash Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    3 c. grated yellow squash
    dash of red pepper
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients; add egg, milk and oil.
    Beat until smooth.
    Add remaining ingredients and stir.
    Drop by tablespoons into hot skillet with small amount of oil.
    Cook until golden brown.
    Makes 2 dozen.
