Corn Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. butter
1 onion, chopped (white)
4 c. chicken broth
1 large potato, chopped
4 c. corn (fresh cooked or canned)
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf
1 c. cream or half and half
6 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
-
Saute onion in 4 tablespoons of butter until tender.
Add corn, potato, chicken broth and herbs.
Simmer 25 minutes.
Puree soup in blender.
Return to pot.
Add cream, 6 tablespoons of butter, salt and pepper.
Serve hot.
