Cincinnati Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 qt. water
    2 medium onions, chopped finely
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. ground red pepper
    1 tsp. cumin powder
    4 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/2 oz. (1/2 sq.) unsweetened chocolate
    4 garlic cloves
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 large bay leaf
    5 whole cloves
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    In a 4-quart saucepot, add ground beef and water.
    Stir until beef separates to a fine texture.
    Boil for 1/2 hour.
    Add all ingredients and bring to a boil, uncovered.
    Stir to blend.
    Reduce heat and simmer, still uncovered, for 3 hours.
    During last hour, pot may be covered, if it has reached desired consistency.
    Makes 8 servings.
