Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 yellow cake mix
1/4 c. soft butter
1 beaten egg
3 eggs
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Set aside 2/3 cup of cake mix.
Combine remaining cake mix, butter and beaten egg.
Stir by hand until crumbly.
Press evenly over bottom and 1-inch up sides of ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine 3 eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar and vanilla in mixing bowl.
Add the reserved cake mix.
Stir by hand until combined well.
Spread this filling evenly over baked crust and sprinkle with pecans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until filling is set.
Cool.
Cut in bars.
