Spanish Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head green cabbage
    1 large onion
    1 large bell pepper
    2 fresh tomatoes
    6 slices bacon
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 tsp. sugar or Sweet 'N Low
Preparation
    Fry bacon.
    Set aside.
    In small amount of bacon grease, saute onions and peppers.
    Cut cabbage and put on top of onions and peppers.
    Reduce heat.
    Add 1/4 cup water.
    Put tight lid on and let simmer for 10 minutes.
    Chopped tomatoes on top.
    Cover for few minutes until tomatoes get tender.
    Stir together.
    Salt, pepper and sugar to taste.
    Crumble bacon on top when serving.
