Satays - Grilled Beef, Chicken Or Pork On Skewers(From Thailand) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef (flank steak), chicken, pork or an assortment of all, cut across the grain into thin slices (1/4-inch wide x 3/4-inch long)
    1 1/2 c. thin coconut milk
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
    3/4 tsp. Oriental curry powder
Preparation
    Soak 12-inch bamboo skewers in water for 1 hour to prevent burning.
