Salisbury Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Combine egg, bread crumbs, onion, green pepper, salt and pepper.
    Add beef; mix well.
    Shape into 6 patties (3/4-inch thick).
    Broil 3 inches from heat for 6 minutes.
    Turn and broil 4 minutes longer.
    Makes 6 servings.
