Hamburg Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. hamburg
    3 Tbsp. oleo
    3 sliced onions
    1 1/2 qt. water
    1/3 c. barley
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3 carrots, sliced
    3 potatoes, diced
    3 stalks celery, sliced
    1 tsp. steak sauce
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Fry hamburg and onions in the oleo.
    Add water, barley, tomatoes, salt and pepper.
    Cover and simmer 1 hour.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer 1 hour more.
