Cornbread Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

medium pan of bread
1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp
4 to 6 tomatoes, diced
1 to 2 onions, diced
1 bell pepper, diced
1/2 c. sweet pickles, diced
1 c. mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. pickle juice
Preparation

Crumble bread and bacon into bite-size pieces and set aside. Mix mayonnaise, sugar and pickle juice.
Pour this over tomatoes, peppers, onion and pickles.
Then add to bread mixture and toss well.
Refrigerate a few hours before serving.
