Never Fail Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 level tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Put egg in standard measuring cup and beat lightly.
    Fill to 1 cup level with milk.
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
    Add to this milk and egg mixture and beat a little to blend well.
    Let stand to rise, about 5 minutes.
    Drop batter by tablespoon on top of boiling stew.
    Cover and boil 20 minutes or until done.
