Cabbage Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. raw shredded cabbage
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. medium thick cream sauce
    2/3 c. grated cheese
    croutons
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Place cabbage in boiling, salted water.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Mix 1/3 cup
    cheese with cream sauce; add cabbage.
    Put in well-greased casserole.
    Add other 1/3 cup cheese and croutons, buttered, on top.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 1 hour, covered, until last few minutes.
