Gladys Jones' Raisin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raisins
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    In saucepan, bring raisins and 1 3/4 cups water to boil for 5 minutes.
    Mix remaining water with brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt.
    Stir into raisin mixture and return to boiling.
    Remove from heat and add vinegar, salt and butter.
    Pour into unbaked 9 to 10-inch pie crust.
    Add top crust and bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
