Water Chestnuts In Bacon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) cans whole water chestnuts
    bacon strips, cut into thirds
    1/4 c. soy sauce (enough to cover chestnuts)
    2 to 3 shakes garlic salt
Preparation
    Drain liquid from one can of water chestnuts.
    Add those chestnuts to the other can and its liquid.
    Add soy sauce and garlic salt.
    Stir and refrigerate overnight.
    When ready to serve, drain liquid (chestnuts will be brown).
    Wrap each chestnut with bacon strip; secure with toothpick.
    Broil until bacon is crisp.
    Can be done ahead and reheated.
