Banana Holiday Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1/4 c. milk
    1 c. diced mixed candied fruit
    1/4 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar, eggs, baking powder and salt until fluffy. Mix in half of the flour. Add bananas and milk, blend well. Stir in remaining flour, candied fruit, raisins and nuts. Turn into a greased 9x5x3 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-70 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
