Layered Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 head iceberg lettuce
3/4 c. celery, chopped
3/4 c. green pepper, chopped
3/4 c. green onion, chopped
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas, cooked
1 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
1 c. sour cream
6 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
8 slices bacon, fried crisp and broken into small pieces
Preparation

Tear lettuce into bite size pieces; put in a large bowl. Layer celery, green pepper and green peas over lettuce.
Mix salad dressing and sour cream.
Spread salad dressing mixture over vegetables.
Sprinkle the cheese and bacon over the salad.
Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
Toss the salad before serving.
