Cabbage Coleslaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head cabbage, shredded
2 grated carrots
1 medium onion, sliced thin or minced
1 green or red pepper, minced (optional)
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. each: salt, celery seed and dry mustard
5 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

Heat together sugar, cider vinegar, water and spices.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Pour over vegetables.
Stir in 5 tablespoons oil. This will keep 2 to 4 weeks in refrigerator.
