Date Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box dates
1 tsp. soda
1 c. hot water
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
salt
nuts

Preparation

Soak dates in the soda and hot water mixture.
Mix rest of ingredients; it will make a thin batter; then add dates and bake 25 to 30 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
