Corn And Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 or 5 slices bacon
    1/2 c. hot water
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. shredded cabbage
    1 c. whole kernel corn (fresh cut or frozen)
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp; remove and drain on paper towel.
    Add water, sugar and salt to bacon drippings.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add cabbage and corn.
    Cover; cook quickly just until tender, about 7 minutes.
    Sprinkle with paprika; garnish with crisp bacon, crumbled.
