Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. meal
1 c. plain flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
2 onions, chopped
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
cooking oil

Preparation

Mix all ingredients well.
Spoon into hot oil (1 teaspoon at a time).
Cook until lightly golden brown.
Drain well.
