Japanese Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or oleo
    2 c. sugar
    3 1/4 c. flour
    1 scant c. milk
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. each: cinnamon and allspice (cloves optional)
    1/4 lb. raisins, chopped fine
    1 1/4 lb. nuts, chopped fine
Preparation
    Mix first 7 ingredients and make as any other cake.
    Divide batter into 2 parts.
    Into 1 part, put 1 teaspoon each of cinnamon and allspice, raisins and nuts.
    Bake this part and other part in 2 layers each at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 25 minutes.
