Wassail Bowl - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. apple cider or apple juice
3 (3-inch long) cinnamon sticks
2 tsp. whole allspice
2 tsp. whole cloves
1 small orange, sliced, for garnish
1 small lemon, sliced, for garnish
6 oz. can frozen orange juice
6 oz. can frozen lemonade
1 (750 ml) bottle dry white wine
4 c. water
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
Preparation

In-5-quart saucepan over high heat, heat apple cider, cinnamon sticks, allspice and cloves to boiling.
Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, place orange and lemon slices in heat-safe 5-quart punch bowl; set aside.
