Potato Soup For A Crowd - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 qt. raw potatoes, peeled and diced
    10 c. sliced celery
    10 c. onions, chopped
    10 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
    5 c. water
    2 1/2 c. butter
    3 1/2 Tbsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
    3 Tbsp. salt
    2 1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 1/2 qt. half and half
    flour to thicken
    1 lb. bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, celery, onions, parsley and water.
    Simmer 30 minutes.
    In another saucepan, melt butter and stir in a little flour.
    Add in a small amount of liquid from potato mixture to form a paste.
    Cool and stir in half and half and seasonings. When vegetables are cooked, mash and add milk mixture.
    Stir constantly; do not boil.
    Garnish with bacon.
    Serve in bread bowls.
