Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
4 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 sq. melted chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. red food coloring (if desired)
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs, then add flour, salt and milk.
Add chocolate and vanilla.
Add red food coloring, if desired.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
