Apple German Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can or 21 oz. apple pie filling
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. mini chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
Preparation
    Place pie filling in a blender; cover and process until the apples are in 1/4-inch chunks.
    Pour into a mixing bowl; add dry cake mix and eggs.
    Beat on medium speed for 5 minutes.
    Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan.
    Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
    Cool and then cut.
    Makes 12 to 15 servings.
